Caroline is a spirited songbird from Raleigh, North Carolina who released her first solo record 'Potential' on July 17, 2012.  She formally fronted indy rock band The Bettys and was a founding member of Mollybond, a group of soul sisters sharing a love of harmony and traditional songs.

Picking up a secondhand dreadnought a few years ago, the songwriting frenzy began.  Her friend Matt Douglas (The Small Ponds, The Proclivities, The Hot at Nights) said, "Hey, I want to help you make a record!"  So in 2011, they began sifting through songs and recording scratch tracks at Chris Stamey's Modern Recording.  'Potential', produced by Matt Douglas, also features Jesse Huebner (The Small Ponds, Patty Hurst Shifter), Matt McCaughan (Bon Iver, The Proclivities) and Greg Readling (Chatham County Line).

A lover of Americana music and influenced largely by roots, rock and folk, Caroline also credits her inspiration to the multitude of the musical artists thriving in her home state.  She is long time troubadour and now hometown host of The Love Hangover.  This highly anticipated show takes place every February 15 (post Valentine’s) in Raleigh, Brooklyn, Kansas City, Chicago, and Ann Arbor, partnering artists from differing music groups to sing duets on the wonders of love.
